Privacy policy.
Effective date: August 30, 2025
CodeForcesly (“the app”) is published by Novus HQ. This policy explains what information the app accesses, where it is kept, and how you can contact us. We designed CodeForcesly to work with minimal data.
1. Information the app accesses
When you search for or view a Codeforces handle, CodeForcesly requests publicly available profile, rating, contest, submission, and problem information from Codeforces services. This information is not private account data.
If you add friends, the handles and display details you choose to save are stored locally on your device. They are used only to show comparisons and friend views inside the app.
2. Information we collect
We do not collect, sell, or share personal information. CodeForcesly has no in-app account system, does not ask for your Codeforces password, and contains no advertisements.
3. Sharing and third parties
CodeForcesly does not share your information with third parties. Network access is used to retrieve public Codeforces data and Google Play may process standard app-store information under its own policies.
4. Storage and deletion
Saved friend details and app preferences remain on your device. Clear the app’s storage or uninstall CodeForcesly to remove locally stored data. Public Codeforces data can be refreshed or removed from view at any time.
5. Children’s privacy
CodeForcesly is rated Everyone. Because we do not collect personal information, we do not knowingly maintain personal data about children or adults.
6. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the app’s behavior changes. The effective date above will change with each revision. Continued use after a revision means the updated policy applies.
